The sort of person who’d rather stay at home with a nice cup of tea, Colin used to count among his hobbies tabletop wargaming and playing lawn bowls with people twenty years his senior. Now, he spends most of his time chasing around the galaxy with Tyresa Jak trying to evade people who want to kidnap him, worship him, kill him, or a combination thereof. Along the way, he hopes to find a purpose for himself aside from being a museum curiosity.

However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she digs up Colin Douglass, and she is forced into the unfamiliar role of nursemaid to this ‘interstellar caveman’.
